Update #2: FIRST STRETCH GOAL!
about 1 year ago – Wed, Mar 05, 2025 at 08:10:29 PM

Holy Smoking Craters!

You know, for the Jumper Cable Edition, I made less money in four weeks as we collected in one day this time around.

I have all you to thank for that.

And now we've hit half that again by Day #2, and the first stretch goal.

Quite frankly, it was too fast.  We didn't have time to prepare graphics.  Matthew's scribbling hand is bleeding.  You can see his finger bones through open stylus-shaped wounds.

But you earned it, so you're going to get it.

INTRODUCING
DUMPSTER DRIVERS

At the edge of the Wasteland before you get to the Red Forest, a junkyard spans the horizon, the receptacle of all of the Before Times' trash.

For you see, the automated RADBORG waste disposal trucks just kept following their programming as the cities ground into the dust, collecting the ruins of civilization to the designated dumping point. The Slough.

Truly the blessings of the dumpster be upon those who can enter the Slough, dodge the wasps, raiders, and malfunctioning RADBORGs and escape with a vehicle, tech relic, or some other treasure...

DUMPSTER DRIVERS will be a series of micro adventures set in the Slough, and created by guest authors depending on what stretch goal we get to, but ZAC GOINS (Tangled in Shrouds) is first on deck! Each adventure will be perfectly sized for an evening's play!

That's all for now, but stay tuned for the cover for this new zine!

Update #1: PROJECT FUNDED! What a Lovely Day!
about 1 year ago – Tue, Mar 04, 2025 at 04:57:46 PM

If Pedal = Metal, then Project = Funded!

Well that was quick!  I'm so grateful that we met my goal of 666 pre-launch followers, and that we gunned the engine and funded the project in less than half a day!

Now is no time to ease up on the guzzoline, of course.  I want to reach at least the first stretch goal at $15,000, which is an 8-page zine chalk full of one-shot adventures in the End of the World's Biggest Junkyard.  It's called DUMPSTER DRIVERS and I'm lining up some great guest authors to contribute... The very first person I asked is Limithron and Snapback Games' own ZAC GOINS and I was thrilled when he said "Yes!"  If we manage to hit more goals, we may even add pages and even more special contributors to this awesome add-on!

Short update for now, but I'll be rappin' at you later.  I need to hop online to the first YouTube Hangout for the Kickstarter campaign!  If you're free (and not watching Daredevil or whatever), why don't you stop in?
